Afrobeat singer, Wizkid has large sum of
$3million which is equivalent to 1 billion
naira (N1billion) from endorsement deal
he signed with United Bank for Africa
(UBA).
Recall, the Nigerian singer recently
made a statement few months before
he signed the deal, that he is about to
bag the biggest endorsement deal in
Africa.
Wizkid joined UBA group as a Brand
ambassador in July 2019 in a bid to
expand already existing long
relationship between UBA group and
the starboy brand.
It is believed that the starboy fan base
is the biggest in Africa, UBA will use
the deal to further expand the
relationship with the starboy brand
thus attracting his fans to join the
singer and become a customer of the
bank. It is a marketing strategy.
According to Africa facts zone, Wizkid’s
UBA endorsement deal is worth 1
billion naira. It covers adverts,
performances and partnerships.
Wizkid endorsement deal is the biggest
endorsement deal in Africa ever, it is
also the first billion naira endorsement
deal in Nigeria.
